Two Trimill VM6535 5-axis machining centers increase capacities
In June, the time had come - the two new machines were put into operation. With an impressive work area and versatile machining options, they significantly expand our machining capacities. What exactly does that mean? Imagine being able to machine several large workpieces simultaneously and with maximum precision - all in a single clamping operation. This not only saves time, but also significantly increases efficiency.
The decision to make this investment was strategic. “We wanted to ensure that we could react flexibly to the complex requirements of our customers,” explains Manfred Scholz, Director at weba in Olomouc. “With these machines, we can now implement even the most demanding projects faster and more precisely.”
A particular highlight of the new machines is their 5-sided machining capability. This opens up new possibilities and ensures that even the largest and most complicated workpieces can be processed effortlessly. The machines are also equipped with the latest technology, which ensures effective and precise machining.
The impressive table top, measuring 6,500 x 3,800 mm and with a load capacity of 173 tons, enables two or more workpieces to be clamped at the same time. This leads to an effective and efficient use of capacities and thus maximizes productivity.
The additional equipment of the machines is wide-ranging. A magazine for 50 tools, a laser-controlled tool probe (Blum) and internal and external high-pressure cooling promise significant advantages in terms of machining capacity.
In addition to technical performance, the focus was also on ease of operation. The machines are designed to be easy to handle and improve working conditions. This is ensured by a casing and a mobile roof over the machining area, which enables the machining of gray cast iron in an enclosed space.

With these new machining centers, weba sets another milestone in technological development and strengthens its position as a leading specialist in tool manufacturing. The future looks promising - both for weba and for its customers.
The continuous investment in state-of-the-art technologies and machines is a clear commitment by weba to quality and innovation. Stay tuned for the next developments!
